Salt Lake City Council

District 3

It’s time for a change

My opponent has been in office for 8 years. It’s time for a fresh face, a new voice, and the ability to have difficult conversations in City Hall to bring better results for the neighborhoods and residents of District 3.

8 years is long. 12 years is way too long.

Blake’s priorities

From Marmalade to Federal Heights, it’s clear that residents are frustrated with the way things are currently being done. Too often, citywide initiatives and projects seem to take priority over basic things like stop signs to make our streets safer and permanent restrooms in our parks.

As a resident, I’m often left wondering what isn’t being communicated to decision makers in City Hall - and why. That needs to change. As a councilperson, I won’t be afraid of having difficult conversations with residents or small business owners and I certainly won’t back away from holding City Hall accountable when it’s necessary.
